USA Swimming

USA Swimming is the national governing body for the sport of swimming in the United States. It is responsible for organizing, promoting, and supporting competitive swimming at all levels, from grassroots to professional. The organization is a member of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and the global aquatic sports governing body, FINA.

The Safe Sport program is an initiative designed to promote a safe environment for athletes at all levels. It seeks to prevent abuse by establishing guidelines for behavior, implementing mandatory background checks for coaches and officials, offering education on abuse prevention techniques and providing avenues for reporting incidents.
